Founded in 1997, Ukrainian Fashion Week united Ukrainian designers in the industry and became the first Fashion Week not only in the post-Soviet area but also in the Central Europe.

On February 3-6, Kyiv, was hosted the 50th anniversary season of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW22-23. On the country’s main catwalk, leading Ukrainian designers presented their FW22-23 collections, including Serhiy Byzov, Viktor Anisimov, Olena Vorozhbyt and Tetyana Zemskova, who participated in the first Fashion Week in November 1997.

Also, 16 art installations were presented in the space of Mystetskyi Arsenal. In addition, during the anniversary season, 84 young designers demonstrated their projects as part of the Fresh Fashion and New Names platforms, within shows of graduation collections of private fashion schools and the Epson Digital Fashion lab. project.

Once upon a time, the “New Names” at Ukrainian Fashion Week were Lilia Litkovska, Olena Burenina, Andre Tan, Olena Przhonska, Ksenia Schnaider, Oleksandr Kanevskyi, Iryna Dzhus, Natalya Kamenska, Olesya Kononova, Artem Klimchuk and Ivan Frolov. UFW priorities are sustainability, digitalization, diversity and inclusiveness, on which the entire global fashion industry is currently being built,” – Iryna Danylevska, CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

More than 200,000 viewers from 62 countries of the world, including the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Japan and others joined the online viewing of the Ukrainian Fashion Week, which was broadcast by the MEGOGO media service, in just 4 days of the Fashion Week. The videos will be available for viewing until September 2022 in the “Show” section.
